Coach Jared

Jared Davis is a certified Mental Health Peer Specialist and Peer Specialist Supervisor serving as the Texas Overdose Prevention Plan (TOPP) Program Coordinator with Strategic Recovery Solutions. A man in long-term recovery with five years free from mind-altering substances, Jared leverages his lived experience to deliver trauma-informed coaching, mental health support, and opioid overdose prevention services.In his role, he collaborates with school districts, first responders, and community organizations across East Harris County and six surrounding counties, helping lead one of Region 6's primary Naloxone (Narcan) distribution hubs. Jared facilitates engaging, stigma-reducing training sessions for diverse audiences—ranging from community leaders to students in grades 6–12—empowering them with life-saving knowledge, tools, and a message of hope and recovery.
